Your Responsibilities
Our employees flat roof responsibilities include:
- Laying out roofing membranes including EPDM, PVC, and TPO
- Lay and adhere insulation by mechanically fastening with screws and plates
- Applying the singly-ply membranes
- Rolling out roofing membrane and sealing seams as specified by the manufacturer
- Cutting roofing material to size
- Cutting strips of flashing to fit into angles formed by walls, vents, and intersecting roof surfaces
You will have to be able to perform these duties:
- Climb and descend a 32-foot extension type ladder unassisted
- Work at heights in excess of 10 feet
- Work in a variety of physical positions, including stooping, squatting, kneeling, and crawling
- Extensive use of arms and shoulders
- The safe use of small and large hand power tools
- Perform basic math
- Follow written or verbal instructions and safety rules
